The „Open Town Hall“ takes place every year on International Women’s Day. From 3 p.m. to 7.30 p.m., there will be an extensive program for all interested visitors: Guided tours, workshops, live acts, film screenings, childcare, roller skating and information opportunities on topics such as women’s politics, work, education, protection against violence, health, housing, diversity, girls and much more – all with free admission.

We are very happy to be part of this program of the Frauenservice Wien for the first time this year with Powerjam and to bring you closer to roller skating. Come visit us from 15:15 to 19:00 at Volkshalle to go for a test drive. We have free rental skates from WIFA with us and will support you with your first rollers kating rounds. As far as we know, this is not only a first for us, but also for the town hall. Roller skates make their way into the city’s most venerable halls and together we celebrate one of the most important action days of the year. The focus is on solidarity and fun.

ATTENTION: protective equipment is mandatory for this event. Skating is only permitted with a helmet.
We have a limited number of pads and helmets available to borrow, but strongly recommend that you bring your own equipment.
