Beginner Workshops – Standing, Stopping, Steppin’ and Rollin’<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The workshop is primarily aimed at (absolute) beginners. After an introduction to correct skating technique<\/strong> incl. Brakes\/beginner stop techniques, we learn our first dance steps and <\/strong>try our hand at simple choreographies<\/strong>. No previous knowledge necessary<\/strong>. For (slightly) more experienced skaters we offer variations to make the moves more difficult. Good vibes and fun in a positive group atmosphere are guaranteed!<\/span><\/p>\n

This workshop is for adults (aged 18 and over).<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n\u20ac8,- Rental skates from WIFA<\/p>\n

Payment only in cash on site. <\/strong>Please arrive approx. 15 minutes early<\/strong> to pick up your rental skates, put on your protectors etc.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>Wiener Eislauf-Verein, Lothringerstra\u00dfe 22, 1030 Vienna<\/strong><\/a>
\n<\/strong>There are rest rooms on site, but no locker\/changing rooms! We therefore recommend that you come to the workshop already in sportswear or comfortable clothing.
\nRain? Takes place in all weather conditions (alternate location: indoor hall of the Wiener Eislauf-Verein).<\/p>\n

LIABILITY<\/strong>
\nParticipation only with registration. Participation at your own risk. We will ask you to sign a disclaimer before the workshop.<\/p>\n

RENTAL SKATES & PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
\n<\/strong>Rental skates from WIFA can be provided if booked in advance<\/strong>. Please let us know when you register. There is only a limited contingent of sizes<\/strong> available, we cannot guarantee you any skates. Protectors and helmets are not available. <\/span>

\n<\/span>For beginners we recommend wearing wrist & knee pads and helmets.<\/span><\/p>\n

WHEELS INFO<\/strong>
\nWe skate on concrete that is not polished and therefore has a good grip. Softer outdoor wheels are fine, for advanced skaters we recommend wheel hardnesses from 90A.<\/p>\n
